Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Trus landing page or services (pre-launch or post-launch), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Services ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using Trus. These Terms may be updated periodically, with notice provided via email, WhatsApp, or the platform.

Description of Service

Trus is a PWA designed to connect real estate agents, buyers (renters, investors, developers, regular buyers), and partners (roommates, JV partners) in Nigeria. During the pre-launch phase, it serves as an agent onboarding platform. Full features, including buyer dashboards, escrow systems, and listings, will be available post-launch on October 20, 2025.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old.
Agents must provide valid identification (e.g., NIN, BVN) for verification.
You agree to provide accurate information and update it as needed.

User Responsibilities

Lawful Use: Use Trus lawfully and respectfully, avoiding fraud, spam, or harassment.
Account Security: Protect your account credentials and notify us at trusrealestate@gmail.com if compromised.
Legal Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, including Nigeria's NDPR 2019.

Agent-Specific Terms

Early Access Agreement: Agents joining early access agree to promote Trus and provide feedback.
Listing Accuracy: Listings must be accurate; misrepresentation may lead to account suspension.
Commission Structure: Commission chains (40% main agent, 25% referrer, 35% closer) are subject to platform rules and property value agreements.

Payment and Fees

Pre-launch Access: Pre-launch access is free. Post-launch, fees may apply (e.g., premium features, escrow transactions), detailed in a pricing section to be added.
Tax Responsibility: Agents are responsible for taxes on commissions earned.
Escrow Policy: Escrow deposits are non-refundable except as per dispute resolution.

Intellectual Property

All content on Trus (e.g., logos, designs) is owned by Trus or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify it without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Trus is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits) arising from use, downtime, or third-party actions, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for breaches (e.g., fraud, inactivity) with notice. You may delete your account by contacting trusrealestate@gmail.com, subject to data retention rules.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, they fall under Nigerian law, with jurisdiction in Lagos courts.

Changes to Services

Trus may modify features or discontinue services, with reasonable notice to users.
